Hi STV Members,
I’m new to Stuttgart. I like to know how many months my wife can stay outside Germany on holidays? I would like to know if it is possible to stay beyond 6 months on holidays in India.

Hi Sridhar,
In case you are holding a Blue Card residence permit, they can stay up to 12 months abroad. If you are having another residence status they have to apply for a new Fiktionsbescheinigung or extension at the local immigration office (Rathaus) in Germany.
