Do we get Mix-and-match COVID vaccines in Germany?

I’ve been hearing, vaccinating people with both the Oxford–AstraZeneca, and Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines produce a potent immune response against the virus SARS-CoV-2.  My friends in Canada said it came out of trials and already general people can opt for it. Anybody knew whether it is also approved in Germany?

Yes, mixing and matching vaccines has been fairly common at German vaccination centers. Last week, even the Chancellor Angela Merkel has also got Moderna as a second vaccine jab where as she received AstraZeneca shots earlier this year. This news is already in press.
